“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. “… and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.” - Luke 3:6 Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth?” - Ecclesiastes 3:18–21 All are from the dust, and to dust all return. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same as one dies, so dies the other. “I said in my heart with regard to the children of man that God is testing them that they may see that they themselves are but beasts. “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse!” - Revelation 19:11 Many passages tell us that animals have souls: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying, ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!’” - Revelation 5:13 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” - Isaiah 11:6–9 The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together and a little child will lead them. Several Bible verses depict animals in heaven: And for those of us who hope to spend eternity with our animal family members, it’s good news. The Bible actually has a lot to say on this topic. Do animals go to heaven? It’s a question most of us have pondered, especially after losing a beloved animal companion.
